Coffee Gatherings

Covid notice

Due to Covid, we are currently not running these groups, but please do get in touch for more information or to get a notification when we’re relaunching.  We’d love to hear from you.

The value of gathering

Here at Cornerstone, we believe that we were created to live in community, to gather together often and to share life’s journey.  That’s why we like to offer opportunities for people to come on over, grab a cuppa and enjoy a good old chat.

Tuesdays at Wigton

Tuesday mornings have a bit of a vibe about them and we love it! We have our busy coffee morning going on, open 9.15 – 11.30am for people to take the load off their feet.  You can get hot and cold drinks as well as our famous scones thrown in for the price and you can usually find a listening ear to bend.  We also have our Foodbank running 10am – noon, staffed by volunteers from the church.   On top of that, we’re delighted to host Wigton Country Market (Open 8am – 12.30pm), selling a range of home grown and baked goodies, crafts, eggs, plants and gifts.

Tuesday Tea & Community Coffee @ Aspatria

We offer a thriving Community Coffee morning every 3 weeks (contact us for the next date) and Tea@2pm on Tuesdays.  At both of these you can find a good, healthy supply of tea and coffee, biscuits and good chat. We also serve afternoon teas from time to time and at special events.  We’d love you to join us.
