dementia cafe

Our Dementia Cafe has now re-opened and is running on the first monday of every month

Enjoy Some relaxed time

Living with, or caring for someone with, Dementia can be difficult, lonely and desperate at times – but you’re not alone.

We want to encourage people experiencing some memory loss or mild to moderate dementia, and their carers, to come along and join us for tea, coffee, cake and conversation at our Wigton base

a welcoming space

Our Dementia Café has been created with support from The Alzheimer’s Society, as a safe, welcoming and enjoyable place for people who experience some memory loss and their family members, carers and friends.

There are lots of opportunities to chat, there’s always a sing-song of some good old favourites, and there are often activities to engage, stimulate and entertain everyone.  Plus, it’ll be an opportunity to make new friends, keep active and feel more confident.

Join us!

Our Dementia Cafe runs on the first Monday morning of every month, 10am – noon, and the sessions are free to attend for everyone.
